The playbook
Box cricket is the most-played corporate format in India for a reason. Innings are six overs, the enclosed turf keeps every ball in play, and a full round of fixtures fits into one evening after work. Teams of eight battle through a league stage, and the season builds to a floodlit finals night with commentary, music and a trophy.
We run it as a true league. There is a published fixture calendar, professional umpires, and a live standings page the whole office can follow. Orange cap and purple cap stats turn colleagues into franchise stars, and the Monday morning conversations take care of themselves.
